Its purpose was to be an even cheaper alternative to the Gibson Les Paul Junior. All the electronics, from the small Fender-style single-coil pickups to the jack cable, are assembled on the pickguard, a wraparound bridge tailpiece. The 77/80 models were upgraded with embossed pickups, tune o' matic and stop bar. There were LP, DC and SG shapes. JOAN JETT, among others, could be seen using the model. A very rare guitar for this period, very light, powerful and comfortable.
