DINAMICO DEL VECHIO CAVAQUINHO RESONATOR - Lot 31

We are delighted to announce our forthcoming auction of electric guitars, paying tribute to Jean René Palacio, the great orchestrator of live jazz and rock music.

His name is intimately linked to the love and influence of jazz: unanimously recognized and appreciated by the world of music and the arts, Jean René Palacio was the committed programmer of emblematic festivals in Juan-les-Pins, Monaco and Megève.

In the course of his career as artistic director, he programmed the biggest names, from Johnny Hallyday and Diana Ross to Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga...

In December, Artenchères will present its collection of electric and acoustic guitars.

Nearly 70 rare models retrace a large part of the history of rock, blues and jazz, testifying to his artistic coups de cœur. Some of the rare models are signed by his musician friends, such as Johnny Winter, Mark Knopfler, Marcus Miller and Jeff Beck.
