It opens on a straight front, with fluted pilasters uprights, by an upper drawer, discovering a writing desk covered with black leather, and four small sycamore veneer drawers lined with small balusters, the whole forming a scriban. In the lower part, it presents two large leaves, revealing three drawers superimposed veneered with sycamore. Another drawer is hidden in the plinth. Loaf feet. Napoleon III period H: 240; W: 133; D: 60 cm Consultant : Pierre-François Breuilh Under the marble appears the stamp of the cabinetmaker Lemoine, successor of Lemarchand, 17 rue des tournelles in Paris. Louis Edouard Lemarchand 1795-1872 associates with André Gabriel Lemoine, who after 1852, buys Lemarchand's shares, and becomes the Emperor's patented cabinetmaker. This same illustrious house, becomes in 1893, the famous House Jeanselme.
