Émile GALLE (1846-1904) Tumbler with conical tubular body polylobate in the inner part, c. 1884-1889. Proof in blown amber crystal. Decoration of a Persian horseman in a medallion on a vermicular background engraved in acid reserve and entirely enhanced with polychrome enamels and gilding. Height 10 cm STATE RECTIFICATION (Polychromy and gilding patinated by time; an old restoration on a V-shaped crack of about 1 cm on each side, at the neck) History: a similar model is kept in the Swiss Museum of Ceramics and Glass (inv. no.
